Roof Replacements in Dallas, TX
A full tear off and rebuild of your roof system, from the decking up, inspected and documented at every stage.
A real replacement starts with stripping the roof down to bare decking, not just laying new shingles over the old field. Once the old material is off we walk every square foot of decking, because plywood that has taken on water over years looks fine from below and soft underfoot when you actually stand on it. Any bad sheet gets cut out and replaced before anything else goes down.
From there it is fresh synthetic underlayment, new drip edge, new valley metal, and a shingle or system installed to the pattern the manufacturer actually specifies, not a shortcut nailing job that voids the warranty without anyone telling you. In Dallas heat, a roof that is nailed wrong or missing proper ventilation will cup and curl years before it should.
What we ask you to ask us: how much decking did you actually replace, what underlayment did you use, and is the ridge vent tied into real attic airflow. Those three answers tell you whether the crew that did your roof knew what they were doing.
How it runs
- Tear off Old shingles, underlayment, and any failed flashing come off down to the deck.
- Deck inspection Every sheet gets checked and any soft or water damaged decking is cut out and replaced.
- Underlayment and flashing New synthetic felt, drip edge, and flashing go down before a single shingle is laid.
- New roof system installed Shingles or the chosen system go on to manufacturer nailing pattern and spacing.
- Final walk and cleanup We walk the roof with you, photograph the finished work, and sweep the yard for nails.
