Gutter Replacement and Installation in Dallas, TX
New gutters and downspouts sized to your roof so rainwater actually leaves the house instead of sitting against it.
Gutters only work if they are sized correctly for the roof area feeding into them, and a lot of homes end up with gutters that were sized for a smaller roof or installed without accounting for how much water a Dallas downpour actually dumps in a short window. Undersized gutters overflow right where the valleys meet them, and that water ends up running down behind the fascia board instead of into the gutter at all.
We fabricate gutters on site as one continuous run rather than in short sections, since every joint in a gutter is a place it can eventually leak. Downspouts get placed and extended to move water well away from the foundation, which matters more here than in a lot of places because of how much the clay soil around Dallas foundations expands and contracts with moisture changes.
Before hanging anything new, we check the fascia board itself, since gutters hung on rotted fascia will fail again regardless of how good the gutter is.
How it runs
- Measure roof and drainage points We work out how much water each section of roof needs to shed and where.
- Fabricate gutter on site Aluminum gutter is formed in one continuous piece to match the run length.
- Install with proper hanger spacing Hangers are set close enough to handle wind and the weight of full gutters.
- Set downspouts and extensions Downspouts are placed to carry water clear of the foundation.
- Test flow We check water moves properly through the system before calling it finished.
